President & Founder

Danielle Judd is the president and founder of FarmHouse Rescue,anonprofit dedicated to animal welfare and therapeutic support for children facing critical illness. After surviving bacterial meningitis and sepsis during pregnancy in2017,she experienced the healing power ofanimals firsthand –anexperience that led her to launch the farm sanctuary in 2018. FarmHouse Rescue pairs rescued farm animals with children battling cancer, offering emotional comfort through initiatives like Smile Boxes, live-stream farm cams, pen-pal letters “from” animals and in-person Guest ofthe Farm Days. Under Judd’s leadership, the organization has rescued more than 100 animals while also expanding outreach through partnerships, including ahands-on animal science exhibit at Pretend City Children’s Museum. She also teaches regularly at the museum, helping young children learn about empathy and care for animals. Through every initiative, she demonstrates how animal companionship can foster healing, especially for families navigating illness, loss or the long road torecovery.
