Isabel Becerra serves as president & CEO of the Coalition of Orange County Community Health Centers, where she has championed health equity and access for underserved communities for over two decades. With 27 years in public health and 24 with the Coalition, she has become a leading voice in California’s healthcare advocacy landscape. Becerra has launched and led numerous initiatives aimed at dismantling barriers to care, expanding services for uninsured and low-income populations and ensuring culturally competent treatment across Orange County. Her work has helped shape healthcare delivery through policy influence, stakeholder engagement and public health innovation. A recognized leader statewide, she sits on the boards of CalOptima Health, the California Primary Care Association, Waymakers Foundation and the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California. Under Becerra’s leadership, the Coalition has strengthened its role as a policy influencer and resource hub for over 30 community health centers across the region.
